There are so many retreats out there, and it's easy to just pick one and roll with it, but as an individual, I like experiences tailored to me, and this retreat ticked so many of the boxes. It was in a beautiful space surrounded by nature, with like-minded and aligned people. That was key. I didn't know who was going, and I just knew they were roughly the same age and from all different parts of the world, which made it really special to connect with people from completely different perspectives. The activities and workshops were things I was familiar with but had never had the proper chance to explore, guided by practitioners who really know this space.
There are so many practical things I'm taking away including daily rituals and holistic practices I'll use to hone my creativity and my purpose. And I think the biggest takeaway is that presence is so important, and I need to be tapping into presence and authenticity on a daily basis.

I was at a time in my life where I felt like I needed a retreat - overrun with work, past relationships, and wanted to get out in nature.
My biggest takeaway was around attachment - don't be attached to money or relationships or your identity. Be able to make your own decisions unattached, and be open to everything. Say no more, commit to the things that you always say that you're going to do, keep evolving into a better version of you, and less time on screen, more time outside.

I decided to come on a Solii retreat because I was going through a lot of personal challenges, and when Sheenae presented the idea of coming to have this experience around finding purpose, I felt like it was really fitting for what I was looking for at the time. I'm so grateful I came because she provided such a safe space for me to really tap into myself and work through some of the traumas I've been facing throughout the years. This is really new for me - it's the beginning of my journey, but I'm really excited to continue, and I think this was a really great starting point.

I really aligned with the post and the website and basically what the retreat is all about. I was always very curious to get more clarity on my journey as I'm unraveling the world of purpose. Having gotten out of corporate and moved to a brand new country, I've been able to flow and listen to my intuition a lot more.
When I look at other retreats, they're really focused more on yoga and breathwork ā this one is more purposeful in the way that it relates to work and burnout, and those are things I've already experienced in my life. Coming out of the retreat and into a new chapter, I've learned about refocusing my energy and making sure you carry it through in your day to day.
I am walking away with new friends, a heart very full, and excitement.

I came on this retreat because I wanted to evolve my mindfulness journey. Previously, I'd just been exploring on my own, but I wanted to explore it with others. I was able to get exposure and experience with new practices. Iām walking away with a sense of presence and connection, not only with myself, but everyone else that was at the retreat as well.

I deal with a lot of anxiety, and I'm in my head a lot. Being here really showed me how important it is to not let my mind direct how I feel all the time. Presence is something I really got to tune into here that I've never experienced before in this way. I want to continue journaling and doing the breathwork and everything we learned, but presence is something that I think is going to stick with me.

It felt like a personal calling to come to a Solii retreat. I am aligning with my purpose at the moment, so having that igniting of my purpose through a beautiful space and fantastic facilitators, it's the perfect combo.
I'm walking away with a more aligned vision of how to figure out what I want, because you don't just figure out what you want in a click. But now I feel like I've got the tools to get in my space and think about those ideas with more clarity and leave with more purpose.

It's so important to develop a presence practice and a self-awareness practice. For me, this was about being able to connect mind and body and bring that practice into my everyday life.
I'm excited to walk away with awareness in my mind and body every day, and to bring the tools and practices we've been learning about into my day to day life.
For anyone contemplating a retreat who might be unsure if it's worth it, pay attention to your inner voice. If you're feeling uneasy or unsure, just take a moment to reflect and figure out what it is that you need.
Sometimes it is just about taking that leap and paying attention to what's inside you.
